Current situation – It’s 2040 and I’m sitting next to my son on his bed. He is insistent I accompany him until he falls asleep at night, every night. And I am typically OK with this, but sometimes, a mom needs a break, even from just sitting on a bed listening to her toddler chatter on about this and that until he nods off into dreamland. Because sometimes, that chatter, and fidgeting can last for well over an hour.
Meanwhile. in my infinite wisdom, I’ve decided to pen a book. Not just any book, but a book about my life, my experiences, and my family. I haven’t decided what style I am going to use when I get to writing the actual book yet, but I’m pretty sure sarcasm will be laced in there with some humor. For my first pre writing exercise, I purchased a book called I Lived This; a workbook with prompts and things to help you write out your life story.
